30 years of Planescape

Thirty years ago, in April 1994 one of the most iconic settings of Dungeons & Dragons was released. Designed by David "Zeb" Cook1 for AD&D 2e, it brought players to the planes beyond the mortal realm, amid the eternal conflict of higher powers.

Besides its eclectic and unmistakenly weird multiverse, Planescape is known for a cult classic "Planescape: Torment"2,3 video game and evocative art of Tony DiTerlizzi.4

To celebrate this anniversary, here's an illustration of one of the characters from my Planescape campaign who had survived from the lowest levels to the grand finale. The illustration was done using Pesi's Watercolors brush pack5 for Krita.6
